Congratulations to the children who had their First Holy Communion last Sunday. Míle Buíochas to Ms. Mahon for preparing them so well and also to the staff and parents. Gymnastics will resume on Wednesday. Go raibh míle maith agaibh.

Emergency Closures PolicyEmergency closures occur in the case of exceptional circumstances such as:• Very inclement weather • Heating breakdown • Death of a teacher in the school • Death of a serving President/Patron • Emergency essential repairs • Under the direction from the Minister for Education The school may close under Rule 60 Procedure 1) The principal shall inform the Chairperson of the B.O.M. of these circumstances and request permission to close. 2) As soon as possible after said permission being granted, the principal will communicate this information to all concerned parties via radio announcement/ texting/ phoning of staff & parents/ guardians. 3) On such days children will not be accepted into the school grounds/buildings for instruction. 4) In the event of children gaining access to the school grounds/buildings the principal will contact parents of these children to make arrangements for their collection. 5) If this is not possible the principal (or person assigned by the Principal) will supervise the children until the aforementioned arrangements may be put in place.
